Some censuring Readers will scornfully say, why hath this Lady writ her own life? Since none cares to know whose daughter she was or whose wife she is, or how she was bred, or what fortunes she had, or how she lived, or what humor or disposition she was of? I answer that is true, that 'tis to no purpose to the Readers, but it is to the Authoress, because I write it for my own sake, not theirs. ~Margaret Cavendish in 1655

the prayer must have worked some

Grandma F is doing better and is on the mending list. Surgery is still a possiblity, but every week that goes by means that possiblity grows smaller. Yeah for her!

I'm getting all geared up for Mexico! I can hardly wait!!! Isis wedding should be a ton of fun! And then the goal is to go to Colorado and see if I can go to grad school there. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

As for knitting... well, I have completed a whole bunch of nothing. I did, however, find the lost ball of yarn for the boy stripey sock. I was down to turning the heel when I figured out that I had casted on the wrong number of stitches and that is why it was smaller around than the already finished mate. glitch. So, I frogged it and started again. I'm getting close to the heel. I need to really get this done quickly, seeing how they are a birthday gift. shhh....
